9 days ago my mother, Felicia Aryee went home to Heaven. Her 6 and a half year battle with cancer took a turn for the worse 2 days after my wife’s own mother died on March 15th of this year. I spent the next 5 months flying back and forth to Texas to help her fight to stay alive. A week before she passed she let me know she’d given it everything and was at peace with going Home; 5 days later she was gone. I’m relieved but heartbroken. This is why you’ve heard very little from me on the music tip. Please keep the fam and I in your prayers. Especially my kids. They lost both grandmothers in a 5 month period so they’re beyond raw. All that being said, I’ve got a lot of pain to channel through my pen so you’ll be hearin’ from me soon enough. And to my Mom…Pac said it best: ‘There’s no way I could pay you back, but the plan is to show you that I understand. You are appreciated.’ I’ll see you soon enough. Rest well.
